Always keeping in mind balance, color, texture and scale, her commissioned pieces coordinate with the styles, fabrics and finishes of her clients' homes. Her goal for commissioned pieces is to create artwork that enhances not only the look of the environment in which the art is displayed, but also the lives of the people who enjoy the space.
Artist's Statement
"Viewers of abstract art may fear that they are misinterpreting the artist's intent, but the artist's intent shouldn't matter to the viewer. The intent of the artist is a conversation between the artisan and the finished canvas. Viewers must bring their own dialogue and perception for the art to speak to them... the artwork should speak to the viewer's heart."
